Scientific and other news from our colleagues in Canada
In the icy cold of the North Canadian Arctic, two colleagues from Tromsø (Norway) are trying to catch ice algae, zooplankton and ice amphipods for the best of the ICE EDGE PROGRAMME. Their activities are followed up in the Canadian press (see here and here), and there is also a blog from the campaign onboard of the Canadian icebreaker Amundsen.
The contribution from the ICE EDGE PROGRAM on CCGS Amundsen ave also reached the Norwegian press (see Forskning.no, Fiskeribladet and Svalbardposten)
